Film series World Views shows ELLA AND THE GREAT RACE

Caramel / Sukkar Banat (LB/FR 2007, D: Nadine Labaki)

Pippi Longstocking was a super-strong child who could stand up to the rest of the world. Ella and her friends are children who defend themselves with the power of their imaginations.

Nowhere do such strange and exciting things happen as in Ella‘s school - thanks to her classmates Hanna, Timo, Pekka, Tiina, Mika, Rambo and, of course, their teacher. But what a shock when they find out that Ella‘s beautiful old school is to be torn down to make way for a Formula One racetrack! And Ella‘s class has to move into a big, ugly school. There‘s only one choice: Ella and her friends must win a race against the future Formula One world champion.
